A famous house at the beginning of the 20th century, built by the Austrian architect Oskar Maugsch at the time when Blvd Dacia was called Bulevardul Nou. Here, starting in 1936, the French Institute operated for ten years.
The old photos of the house are downright charming in a true eclectic spirit, influenced by the classicist Western trends, the building being extremely valuable precisely because it belongs to this era.
Year of construction: 1865. Completely renovated and restored in 2009.
The scale roof represents a true restoration model for the traditional roofs specific to this type of architecture, a roof preserved to this day in perfect condition.
